CEO & President – Faith Marabella has specialized in Senior Living Design for over 20 years; first as an Architect, then as an Interior Designer. She now owns Wellesley Design Consultants, Inc. in Haverhill, MA which has a rich history designing Senior Living for more than 30 years. She carries on that expertise, while continuously innovating in a dynamic market by attending conferences, seminars, and symposiums. Faith is a member of the Ageless Living Collaborative; an active think tank looking to change the narrative around Senior Living. She actively collaborates with manufacturers who focus on the best solutions for Seniors. Faith is passionate about her affordable housing projects that contribute towards minimizing the current New England housing crisis. Faith instills in her team that, “Senior design, is Universal design”.
Interior Designer & FF&E Specialist – Christine has been in the design field for 19 years specializing in both commercial and residential design. Christine graduated Endicott College with a BS in Interior Design, and Hesser College with a BS in Marketing. Prior to joining WDC Christine was designing kitchens and bathrooms in a residential setting, and before that has several years experience in space planning and designing with commercial furniture, specifically Herman Miller and Allsteel furniture. Christine’s favorite part of design is space planning and selecting material to make every project unique. Christine loves to travel and explore new places, painting, and loves all animals. Interior Designer & Project Manager – NCIDQ, LEED AP, IIDA, Dawn has over two decades of commercial interior design and project management experience. She is highly skilled in all phases of design from programming to contract administration. She is highly experienced in developing long lasting relationships and maintaining project goals. She has an in-depth knowledge of architecture, construction, building materials, codes and LED lighting. Her extensive list of commercial projects includes corporate offices, headquarters, operation centers, financial institutions, retail spaces, medical buildings and hospitality. She received her BS degree in Interior Design from Endicott College and graduated top in her class. Dawn collects topiaries, enjoys historic architecture, loves estate gardens and finds joy repurposing antiques. Her energy comes from years of Zumba dance and Strong boot camp class.
Procurement Specialist – Eric Karlstad has been in the furniture and design industry for 30+ years. Eric’s procurement and project management experience ranges from US Embassy and Consulate projects around the world for the US Department of State to local residential, corporate and assisted living communities. Through this breadth of experience, Eric is comfortable and savvy working with State and Federal contracts and contracting procedures. Hands-on experience includes starting and managing a painting company for 10 years in the greater Boston area. Eric’s interest in design, fine food and travel was ignited as a 16 year old exchange student living and studying in Denmark. Today, Eric is more likely to be found pulling weeds in his garden, cooking and volunteering here in Haverhill, MA.
Interior Designer – Adelaide joins us from Wentworth Institute of Technology, where she graduated cum laude and received a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. She has experience in corporate office design and has a sharp eye for detail. She holds extensive knowledge of the history of interior design and is passionate about historic architecture and preservation. Adelaide enjoys antiquing, cooking, traveling, and making jewelry.
CFO – “Chief Fun Officer – Penelope has the most important job of all – making our office fun and not too serious! With the help of her trusty ball, Penelope spends her days trotting around the office in search of someone to play with her and makes sure that everyone is having a great day. She also acts as our office greeter, and ensures that everyone who enters the office knows that we’re all about having fun.
Principal Founder of Wellesley Design Consultants, Inc., Anne has many years of experience as a project designer in interior design, working with architectural firms in the Bahamas and England before moving to Boston area in 1973. Prior to forming Wellesley Design Consultants, she was responsible for the interior design for North Hill in Needham MA in 1982 and in 2010 was asked to return and work on its repositioning. Her architectural education was received from the School of Architecture, Kingston-upon-Hull, England.
